Abstract

Studies have been carried out that made it possible to identify the causes of the waviness of flat lateral elements of sheet profiles with periodically repeated longitudinal corrugations. An expression is obtained that describes the conditions for the lack of stability of a flat lateral element of such profiles, which allows to design a technological process without the formation of waviness along the edge. The influence of various geometric parameters. and technological parameters of profiles and technology on the possible loss of stability of flat lateral elements of profiles is analyzed.
