Abstract
The paper describes the features of the new technology of strain hardening flat portions bent rolled shapes by forming on the work piece by local exhaust small longitudinal corrugations. The results of studies of magnitude and nature of changes in the mechanical properties of the cross section of non-reinforced and reinforced ( corrugated ) profiles. The influence of the height of the formed corrugations on the degree of strain hardening varietal bent profiles. New technology allows you to increase the carrying capacity of the bent structures of metal and savings by reducing their thickness.
