Abstract
The article presents the principles of interaction of variable speed of the belt with the pulley when adjusting gear ratios. Considered ways of ensuring the durability of the belt variator, due to the choice of the profile of the surface of the cone pulleys, eliminating the eccentricity of the forces on all the radii and gives you the opportunity to ensure proper contacting of the belt.
