The elements of interaction between baler's picking drum rake fingers and flax windrow stems, and roll balers' technological reliability
Abstract
The effort of a single picking drum's finger that influences flax windrow stems is analytically defined. Actual efforts cause the correspondent stem deformation that can be accompanied by their damage reducing the technological reliability of roll balers. The damage of stems in a roll reduces with the increase in a flax windrow portion weight that is picked up from a strip with fingers of a single rake.
