Determination of average unused unit’s resource at condition-based maintenance as presence of incubation phase defect

Abstract
The method of determining the average unused unit’s resource are preventively replaced on the results of diagnostics. The method allows to determine unused resource depending on the threshold of preventive replacement, expectation and coefficient of variation rate of the defect. Dependence obtained for the cases of linear and exponential increase of the defect (or diagnostic signs) of operating time.
