Abstract
A review of the scientific literature on SHS-processes, which indicates the prospects of its application for technologies of hardening and recovery of parts by welding and thermal spray methods of deposition. One of the new trends is the use of preliminary mechanical activation of powder components to ensure high-temperature synthesis of composite powder materials.
