Nondestructive control method of the thickness of strain-hardening coatings.

Abstract
A nondestructive control method of coating thickness, state of strengthened and depreciated layer with indentation usage of different zones of thin-walled cutting tool is suggested in the article. The researches are carried out in the conditions of putting the film coating and during the exploitation. The possibility of using microhardness method to determine the coatings thickness in the condition of the optimum load in various zones of the blade is shown.
