Researching the level of production traumatism and professional sickness in the trade of technical service of the agrarian complex of Ukraine

Abstract

Under contemporary terms of unstable economic condition, the majority of companies of agrarian and industrial complex determine the aging of main assets. Due to this, the running equipment and machinery in the company, have a significant wearing out and more than 90% fail to conform to the requirements of labor protection legislation. This appears due to the fact that the agrarian and industrial complex of Ukraine currently is one of the most traumatic and complex industries of the economy where the level of lethal traumatism remains is impossibly high, thecoefficient of frequency of production traumatism sometimes exceed in two-three times the average value within the country, together with yearly growth of sickness and severity of traumatism rate. The article analyzed statistic data on production traumatism and professional sickness of those employed in the field of agrarian and industrial complex, particularly, in the field of repair and technical maintenances of machinery-vehicle fleet. It describes main reasons for accidents when operating, technical maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery. The main reasons for accidents in the trade, the main subject of activity of which is repairs and operation of machinery-tractor fleet in the companies of technical service of agricultural machines: imperfection of technological processes – 57%; high level of wearing out of machinery – 12 %; failure to adhere to sanitary and hygienic factors – 10%; poor organization of working process – 7%; ill-quality training of safe working methods or its absence – 6%; low labor and production discipline – 5%; lowering period for reconstruction and upgrade of running companies – 3%. Perspectives of further researches is development of preventative measures.
