Abstract
The article proposes a method for determining the skidding of a wheeled propulsion engine by several criteria that have both a technical expression and an energetically effective one. It is justified that calculated solely on technical criteria, slippage requires verification taking into account generalized indicators that take into account as much as possible associated costs: reduced productivity, increased fuel consumption, etc. As such generalized criteria, you can use the maximum labor efficiency or minimum of the given costs, which are determined to a greater extent by the performance of the tractor.
