Determination of energy characteristics of the vehicle at the stand with treasures

Abstract

In the article the method of definition of power characteristics of the car equipped with system of distributed fuel injection on the stand with running drums is offered. When diagnosing the car for fuel efficiency or for solving the problems of rationing fuel consumption, knowing the characteristics of the injectors used on this type of engine and measuring their opening time, we can with sufficient accuracy measure instantaneous fuel consumption when driving at a given speed on the road or on a stand with running drums. The purpose of the work is to further improve the methodology and develop an algorithm for diagnosing the technical condition of the car to change fuel consumption. In real systems, the simplified model for determining the cyclic feedrate based on the static capacity of the injector and the duration of the control pulse is laid in the basis of the algorithm for controlling the injectors. In this model, the effective cross-section of the nozzle atomizer is assumed constant, and the duration of the open state of the injector valve is assumed to be equal to the duration of the control pulse and these values are set from the base and correction matrices of the engine control unit. The described method for determining the vehicle's energy parameters can be used to determine the fuel consumption of vehicles equipped with distributed fuel injection systems, as well as to determine or refine the basic rates for transport operations, taking into account the operating conditions. The preliminary check of the injectors, their static and dynamic spillage at the cleaning platform of ASNU-01 nozzles by Bosch excludes the measurement errors associated with the technical state of these elements of the fuel injection system.
