The choice of speed sensor and its reliability in the control unit jet seeding system
Abstract
The most imperfect part of the control system of seeding are the sensors path and speed. The experience of operating the jet control systems showed that most failures occur when the clogged channels of the sensor particles of oil, moisture, dust. The reliability of the management of the meter system is determined by the reliability of the control unit, depending on the direct and indirect effects of the environment in dusty conditions when sowing. The reason the direct impact is the ability of the jet control unit to retract the external environment. It contains mechanical impurities are deposited on the walls of the chambers and the channels, changing their geometrical dimensions, and thus characteristics of the jet elements.
Therefore, the aim of the research – selection of speed sensor for the control unit of the jet sowing system and the assessment of the reliability of his work.
The author explains the choice of the type of speed sensor for the control unit of the meter system based on the use of elements of pneumatic jet (fluidics). Presents an assessment of the reliability of the selected sensor in terms of minimum probability of failure-free operation for a specified time. It is established that in the control unit of the jet sowing system you need to apply the speed sensor is structurally designed based on the impingement jets. The reliability of the speed sensor on the collision of jets is determined by the minimum probability of failure-free operation for a specified time, which to environments with excessive dust is equal to 0,99. Developed control unit, which is a closed sealed housing with a built-in inside its circuit board and with power and speed sensor on the collision of jets.
